Came out of my LEGO Dark Ages in 2016.  Trying to catch up with the rest of the world when it comes to designing a MOC.  Currently downloading small MOCs and dissecting the Instructions.

To speed up my learning process, I make a lot of what I call "Rat Rods" - all the correct shapes (or reasonable substitutes) and don't worry about the colors for now.

I attend a weekly LEGO gathering in my community.  Usually working with Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Grandparents, or Great Grandparents.  Therefore, when I make Instructions in LDD my #1 priority is to keep the build flat on the table for as long as possible so they don't have to fight that "Gravity Guy".  I also like to have the 3D view capability that LDD allows.

Takes a lot of time to build LDD instructions, but to me it's worth it because of all the extra learning I do when I try to make the file.

I am "VERY" grateful for all the great MOCs created by the designers I am following.

Multiple times better build than the Corvette, at least in my opinion.  Slowly teaching myself the instruction part of Studio.  Will use your file in the future when I decide I am ready to tackle Technic build instructions.  Right now having tough enough time with just bricks and plates.  ;-)

    Thanks for sharing the io!

Thank You for the insight.  Tried playing with the virtual parts in 30183 (don't have the actual kit).  Tough kit for my limited skills.  The good news is that what I came up with makes even your original tries look like masterpieces!   ;-)  I will keep trying.  Thanks again for all your help.

Amazing how the face lift makes such a more modern design compared to your first one.
